Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
- 5+ years of related experience required, preferably in biotech or life sciences.
- Proven experience managing, leading, and developing a high-performing team.
Skills:
- Broad-based experience in supporting organizations around business and general management processes.
- Experience in data visualization techniques and producing business-driven dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with master data environments and processes leveraging Customer Master Data.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau, Salesforce.com, and Oracle is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a complete set of indicators that clarify performance and establish core KPIs across the commercial team.
- Establish a comprehensive forecasting tool in partnership with finance, including sales pipeline, commit, and expected run rate revenue.
- Assist in creating a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) tool to report the flow of sales bookings to expected samples, aiding resource planning for Lab and Customer Operations.
- Support the consistent monitoring and evaluation of performance against KPIs.
- Identify knowledge gaps and partner across the organization to inform opportunities for training.
- Develop data models, reporting systems, and dashboards to support key business management requirements.
- Capture user requirements for standard reports and define user needs to execute projects accordingly.
- Support additional ad hoc reporting needs of senior leadership as appropriate.
- Own the master customer data processes to ensure high-quality data maintenance in accordance with SOPs.
- Project manage global and regional customer master data initiatives.
- Supervise the implementation of changes from business projects and data governance improvements, ensuring high-quality data.
- Ensure a high service level for all operational requests relating to customer master data and provide training on operational processes.
- Understand, develop, and communicate master data management principles and data quality standards across the business.
- Serve as an escalation point for customer master-related queries and data quality issues.
- Drive impact analysis of master attributes, enhancements, or change requests.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve Customer Master Data processes and efficiency.
- Drive the Data Stewardship and Master Data Management functions to deliver accurate and reliable data and operational support to stakeholders across the organization.
- Support ad hoc projects and other tasks as needed.
