UX/UI Designer
As a UX/UI designer, you will conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, advocate for best practices in user-centered design, and support marketing in enhancing the website experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, DevOps, and marketing, you will design and implement intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric digital experiences. Reporting to the Product and Implementation Manager, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of our platform, application, and website experience.
This is a hybrid role, office location in Schaumburg, IL.Must have a strong UI/UX design portfolio submitted with resume.What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to design web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and stakeholder input to continuously improve the user experience
- Create and maintain UX documentation, including user journeys, and design specifications, to ensure clarity and consistency throughout the design process
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams for UX/UI guidelines and marketing for website designs and updates
What You Need to Be Successful:
- BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business or equivalent working experience
- Experience in SaaS, Finance, or B2B is a plus
- 3+ years of work experience with user-centered and user-interface design
- 3+ years of work experience with responsive website development/ maintenance
- Mobile and responsive web/app UI design skills
- Solid experience in creating process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models, and visual designs
- Must be able to present your ideas creatively, effectively, and with reason
- Must be up-to-date with latest UI trends, technologies, and design practices
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge and understanding of user stories, user issues, and ways of enhancement
- Experience with web standards such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of common website development platforms (Webflow/ WordPress)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and debug complex design problems and effectively provide cross-team solutions
- Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Zeplin, Flinto, Adobe Suite, Figma)
- In-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methods
