The Position: Lab & Education Assistant


Because you’re so organized and diligent, you’ll be tasked with getting the lab prepared for training events, which means setting the stage for learners to master new techniques and develop a greater understanding of compounding pharmacy. That’s why it’s important that you’re a self-starter and can work well independently, but you won’t hesitate to ask questions or delegate duties to other team members to make sure everything’s ready.We frequently welcome groups of pharmacists, pharmacy techs, pharmacy students and even high school students.

Our attendees are all good-hearted people who come to our lab to level up their expertise in compounding – the art and science of creating custom batches of medicines to fill prescriptions for individual patients with unique needs and health challenges.  A lot of your work will take place behind the scenes to ensure the success of the attendees, although during training events, you’ll get to greet attendees and be on hand to help them stay on track and make sure things get prepared before the next lesson. Of course, you’ll work with the lab manager to determine set-up strategies for the lab to ensure training events run smoothly. That way, you get the thrill of seeing how the attendees excel when the well-oiled machine is in motion.With your friendly and helpful nature and eye for process improvement, you’ll be a natural fit for our team. That’s because we’re looking for someone like you who has a caring soul and whose favorite groove is being precise, methodical and keeping things clean.
