We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Purpose


This Post Harvest Custodian position is responsible for executing their daily role within the cultivation facility at a highly productive and efficient pace to achieve the weekly objectives for a variety of duties to clean and decontaminate equipment, supplies, and the spaces the Post Harvest department staff operate in.  This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy.  The Post Harvest Custodian role must participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently.  The Post Harvest Custodian reports to the Facilities Manager under the direction of the Manager of Trim and Senior Manager of Post Harvest. 

Essential Duties


Procedures & Tasks


  • Executing the cleaning and decontamination of the Post Harvest department equipment, supplies, and operational area.  Particular focus on cleaning the Trim Department equipment and surfaces, working in a timely manner meeting daily and weekly goals.
  • Supporting the breakdown of machinery in the Post Harvest department to deep clean equipment.  Execute taking apart machinery and reassemble correctly consistently.  Properly use equipment and supplies to maintain its integrity and longevity.
  • Operating the dishwasher and pressure washer to complete cleaning effectively.  Thorough deep clean of workstations and supplies for Post Harvest operation.
  • Support the communication and secure transport of plants from the Production area to Trim room to Post Trim room. Understand the workflow of the Post Harvest department.
  • Execute the daily and weekly goals for harvesting plants in the Trim department.  Processing the plants accordingly, separating bud material product, extraction material product, and unhealthy product consistently.
  • Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by leadership to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.  Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Cure dept tasks, Packaging dept tasks, Farm dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.

Training Requirements


  • This position will follow the direction and training by the Manager of Trim and/or Senior Manager of Post Harvest assigned to the [fill in location] cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to clearly achieve the position objectives, compliantly and safely.
  • Training towards Delt Service’s mission statement and employee development.
  • Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.

Workspace and Material Maintenance


  • Supporting the Manager of Trim and Senior Manager of Post Harvest to maintain proper organization of the Trim room. Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the Post Harvest production areas.  Ensure organization and cleanliness of the work areas.
  • Participate with efficient productivity and teamwork when cleaning and organizing equipment and workspaces. Contribute and show support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
  • After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.

Compliance and Reporting 


  • Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
  • Report any improper action of compliance regulations.  Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.

Supervision 


  • Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Trim and Senior Manager of Post Harvest.
  • This position is expected to perform duties independently, at a highly productive and efficient pace, consistently.  
  • This position is expected to follow and obey the company policies.
  • This position will ensure cleanliness and decontamination using cleaning products on the Post Harvest department supplies and equipment.

Job Requirement


  • This position is expected to be available as needed to adhere to the responsibilities within and throughout the job description.
  • Must be eligible for the position based on state and federal laws and regulations.

Working Conditions 


  • This position is part of a fast paced work environment centered around cleaning and equipment maintenance. This position should expect to deal with conditions that can be wet, hot, damp, and unclean.
  • Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification.
  • Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts.  Prepared for full 40 hour week working scheduled shifts with occasional overtime shifts to complete daily and weekly objectives.

Job Qualifications


Work Experience

  • Preferred 2 years professional cleaning or decontaminating experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is preferred. 
  • Demonstrates ability to consistently achieve productivity and performance requirements. 
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others.  Demonstrates respectful verbal and written communication capability.

Education



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
