The Role
As a summer intern, you’ll work directly with our world class engineering team to push forward your teams project. There is a lot to do and a lot to learn, so be prepared to dive in headfirst as you immerse yourself in the world of blockchain. We’re growing fast and moving even faster so we can’t say exactly what you’ll be working on next summer, but potential projects range from developing new APIs and features to creating internal tooling. Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge from course work and learnings from previous experiences to real world problems
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver solutions to real problems the engineering team is facing
- Move quickly and learn about the blockchain space
What We're Looking For:
- Pursuing a Bachelors (Juniors/Seniors only), Masters, or PhD with a focus on subjects related to software development, computer science and/or mathematics
- Professional experience coding in at least two general purpose programming language, preferably Java, Typescript or Python
- Interest in the blockchain space, demonstrated with course work, extracurriculars, open source contributions and/or work experience
- At least one previous Software Engineering internship with proven ability to execute and exposure to real-world systems
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Exposure to web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, and networking is a plus
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco or New York
