Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Confluence Specialist to join our dynamic IT team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the Confluence platform used to create and organize project tasks and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members on various types of content and project management items.
- Create, document, and train the stakeholder staff on a framework for use of Confluence for its projects.
- Advise the stakeholders on the optimal way to utilize Confluence and ensure that Confluence works seamlessly with Jira, and GitHub.
- Assist with coordination of Confluence system requirements identification, conduct needs analyses, and training design, delivery, evaluation, and management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to validate training requirements and evaluate training quality.
- Facilitate post training performance critique and development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related area is required. Masters degree is preferred.
- Atlassian Jira/Confluence administration certification required.
- 20+ years of hands-on relevant experience in setting up, configuring, and administering Confluence spaces for complex projects.
- Extensive experience in Cloud Migration of Atlassian Jira and Confluence products.
- Proven experience in working with both technical and non-technical teams to create knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Confluence architecture, customization, and user management.
- Ability to design structured, user-friendly Confluence spaces that enable efficient document sharing, project collaboration, and tracking.
- Strong understanding of documentation workflows, version control, and access permissions to ensure secure yet collaborative work environments.
- Experience in providing training and support to users, helping them effectively utilize Confluence for project documentation, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage actions to meet changing deadlines and requirements within a high volume, high stress environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and demonstrated professionalism.
- Ability to be self-motivated and able to work in a team and independently.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Highly responsive to requested needs.
