REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.
We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Anduril, and Boom Supersonic, in addition to strategic investors like Lockheed Martin, Japan Airlines, and Hawaiian Airlines. We have over $9B in orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hard at work getting our full-scale, human-carrying prototype on the water next year. REGENT is seeking skilled Electrical Technicians with experience in fabricating, assembling, and maintaining electrical systems.
The position requires a commitment to safety across aircraft and marine operations.

- Inspect assemblies, ensure parts and tools availability, collaborate with the design team, and coordinate workspace layout and project timelines.
- Plan and execute cable builds and rework activities for test stands, prototypes, and production, while maintaining production machines and equipment for safety and productivity.
- Inspect and test finished products for defects, document findings, debug failures, and recommend corrective actions to design engineers.
- Build small electrical sub-assemblies and battery modules (high and low voltage) and integrate and test electro components in vehicles.
- Run functional testing on units and be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
