WHAT YOU WILL DO:
We are looking for a skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our innovative team, focused on defining the technical direction of our client, a leading global retailer. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing IT architecture and solutions that align with business objectives, industry trends, and technology advancements. You will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, domain architects, and engineering teams to ensure that solutions meet approved standards and are delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement architectural standards, ensuring adherence throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
- Assess the Business-IT landscape to identify areas for improvement and suggest effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to execute strategic roadmaps and reference architectures.
- Offer guidance on development projects to maintain alignment in solution designs across various initiatives.
- Create documentation for architectural designs and communicate significant decisions affecting the solutions.
- Set forth principles, guidelines, and standards to align with the organization’s vision for future architecture.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in architecture, including extensive integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (PaaS, IaaS), database query languages, and web programming languages.
- Familiarity with modeling languages such as BPMN, DMN, and UML.
- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical ideas to business stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and team coordination capabilities.
- Experience as a consultant.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $125,000-$185,000.

LOCATION:
This role requires on-site presence at our client's location in Issaquah, WA.
