The Opportunity...
As a Business Analytics Associate at Centerfield, you will gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights that drive business growth and efficiency. Your experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau will be key in querying databases, developing reports, and supporting various departments.
How You’ll Contribute...
- Use SQL queries and Excel to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop visually compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Looker or Tableau to effectively communicate insights.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, finance, and operations to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analytics to contribute to process improvements.
What We're Looking For...
- 1-2 years of professional experience in analytics with proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, preferred but not required.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
