Role Overview:The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead Zenoti’s global Engineering and Cloud Ops teams and responsible for setting the technical strategy for the company. The CTO will ensure the technology infrastructure aligns with and supports the company’s business goals. This includes overseeing teams that build and manage Zenoti’s Vertical SaaS, AI & Fintech products while ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, managing the technology team, and driving innovation to maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Technology Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking technology strategy that aligns with Zenoti’s business goals and drives innovation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure that supports the company’s growth.
  • Product Development Oversight: Lead and guide engineering teams to build and manage scalable, secure SaaS products, ensuring they meet customer needs and industry standards.  Drive technology innovations that improve customer experience and engagement, ensuring the platform evolves to meet and anticipate customer needs.
  • Innovation and Growth: Identify and leverage emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to drive product innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and create competitive advantages.  Drive the practical application of AI/ML technologies to personalize user experiences, enhance operational efficiencies, and enable advanced analytics for the platform.
  • Risk Management and Security: Establish comprehensive disaster recovery, business continuity plans, and cybersecurity strategies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and mitigating technology risks.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation while mentoring engineering leaders and developing future talent within the organization.  Collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO, and other C-suite executives to ensure alignment between technical strategy and broader business goals.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal performance of outsourced solutions.
  • Performance Metrics - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as system uptime, time-to-market for new features, deployment frequency, and customer satisfaction with technical services.”

  • Operational Excellence: Lead technology operations to ensure high availability, security, and reliability of all technical systems, infrastructure, and software solutions.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives within the technology function, managing stakeholder expectations and driving transformation across the company.”
  • Product Ownership: Ensure seamless collaboration between product management and engineering teams to deliver innovative, high-quality software that meets business requirements.
  • Security and Compliance: Oversee security protocols and ensure systems comply with the latest regulations and industry standards.
  • Technology Budgeting: Create and manage the technology budget, prioritizing investments that drive long-term value for the company while optimizing resource allocation.

Qualifications:


  • Leadership: Proven CTO-level experience leading technology teams, driving innovation, and building a high-performance culture within a growing SaaS organization.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in systems architecture, software development, IT infrastructure, and security, with a proven track record of implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Experience in delivering scalable AI/ML and GenAI-based solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to align technology with business goals, leveraging emerging trends to foster growth, innovation, and operational improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology strategies to cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • Experience: 20+ years in technology leadership roles, focusing on product development, cloud infrastructure, AI, and data-driven technologies.
