We are all makers at heart and care deeply about the quality of our work.We’re looking for an Operations Generalist to join the team and help streamline day-to-day operations. You’ll work directly with our Chief of Staff, jumping into ad-hoc projects, managing day-to-day processes, and coordinating leadership activities.
This role offers broad exposure across the company and is ideal for someone eager to learn quickly and with strong sense of ownership and initiative.Please note: We are an equal opportunity employer and remote-only company. What you’ll do
Operations Management
Take ownership of projects as they arise.
Manage financial operations, including processing payments and invoices.
Assist in establishing and improving internal IT tooling and processes.
Continuously identify and implement improvements to our internal processes.
Work with our Chief of Staff to lead compliance efforts and certifications (SOC 2, GDPR).
Team and Leadership Support
Manage the company calendar, tracking key milestones and priorities.
Coordinate and schedule leadership meetings and team-wide events.
Gather and share status updates from team leads.
Handle light scheduling and calendaring for the CEO and executive team as needed.
Relationship Management
Keep track of and nurture important relationships with candidates, customers, and investors.
Act as a point of contact for key relationships when appropriate.
Requirements
Ability to thrive in environments where you can take on a wide range of tasks and jump into new challenges without hesitation.
Proven track record of keeping things moving, managing multiple projects while staying focused on details and deadlines.
An expert in learning the ins and outs of different business functions. You understand this role will evolve as Linear grows.
Experienced and proficient with modern tools like Notion, Slack, and AI to make workflows more efficient.
3+ years of relevant experience in an operations role.
Bonus(es): Consulting or Startup experience is a plus, but not required.
