Hi there, I’m Marina, a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Together with Toni, Director, Infrastructure Development, we’re on the lookout for the Junior Web Developer for his team.

What you can expect as our Junior Web Developer at LeadDesk


  • You’ll be doing full-stack development, with the focus on the back end.
  • You’ll be developing high-quality code and working on testing related issues.
  • You’ll bring your perspective to improve our current processes.
  • You’ll be creating solutions that support easy maintenance of the product going forward (e.g. accommodate changes in API of our provider).

What success looks like in this role


Ideally, after the first 6 months, you’ve had a good understanding of our product, our processes, and know the key stakeholders you’re working with. After that, you’ll be able to work independently and many of the features you have been developing are already in production.

This is where the match happens


Must-haves


  • 0-2 years of experience with development tasks and version control (related hobby projects count). Experience in building a SaaS product that’s used by many people is a plus.
  • Ability to work with both back- and front-end tasks, especially with the former. You will also need to understand databases and be able to consider both security and performance issues.
  • Experience with .NET and MS SQL.
  • Coachability and interest in building a career in web development.
  • Good communication skills in English.

Nice-to-haves


  • Linux.
  • Docker.
  • AWS.
  • Experience with API.

Practicalities


  • Your location: Ă–stersund (Sweden).
  • Work model: Hybrid (3-4 days per week onsite).
  • Start date: November – December 2024.
  • Employment period: Permanent.
