Austin, Texas, United StatesCorporate Partnerships team reporting to Director of Corporate PartnershipsHalf-time in-office and work from homeYou will deliver exceptional account management for Capital Factory's most important corporate partners: the Innovation Council. You will help Capital Factory’s contracted clients define and execute their innovation business objectives to maximize the value from their Capital Factory memberships through startup introductions, branding opportunities, corporate relationship building, strategic planning, and VIP event experiences.The Capital Factory Innovation Council links the nation's largest companies with Texas' most innovative startups and cutting-edge technology and includes: BAE Systems, Baker Botts, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Daimler Truck North America, Deloitte, Ferrovial, H-E-B, IBM, L’Oreal, Raytheon Missiles & Defense, and Standard Industries.
Requirements
What you will do…
- Guide our most important government, corporate, and university accounts through the dense mesh of opportunities at Capital Factory
- Navigate complex hierarchies to understand each partner's goals and success metrics, and document the relationship's progress in our preferred systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your client, coordinating their interactions with various teams at Capital Factory, including Venture, Partnerships, VIP, Events, and Venue teams
- Introduce additional engagement or sponsorship opportunities within Capital Factory and to secure additional investment
- Lead snapshot reviews and annual strategy discussions with your accounts
- Collaborate with our marketing team to craft press releases and success stories that showcase your client and portfolio partnership achievements
You'll know you're successful if....
- You maintain over 80% renewal rate for your Innovation Council Accounts
- You possess exceptional customer service skills, consistently making each account feel valued and earning top-tier Promoter NPS scores (9-10) from your clients
- You drive additional revenue for the Innovation Council by securing $100k annually in event sponsorships
- You ensure contract renewals and client payments are processed on or before their due dates
- Partners and sponsors frequently offer unsolicited praise for your excellence, demonstrated by their continued business and loyalty
About you…
- You hold a bachelor's degree and have experience in enterprise-level sales
- You are skilled at working with large corporations and adept at navigating their internal structure
- You have a strong understanding of service contracts and can organize and track all deliverables
- You are outgoing and can easily engage with anyone
- You are a meticulous documenter, known for creating detailed lists and spreadsheets
- You are a natural problem solver always looking for ways to improve processes and transform chaos into systems
- You are organized and proactive, but you stay calm and adaptable when plans change at the last minute - because they will, and you roll with it
- You check your email in the evenings and are available to work evening events and weekends when deadlines are tight. You do what it takes to get the job done
- You have a reliable laptop computer and smartphone that you’re comfortable using for work
- You committed to staying Texas for at least the next two years
