At Petvisor, we're seeking an AI Engineering Manager ready to embrace a blank canvas and build our AI team from the ground up. In this pivotal role, you will build and lead a fully remote, global team of developers, including full-time employees, outsourced resources, and contractors, providing technical oversight and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.As the AI Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming our technical landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to partner closely with the AI product owner to ensure that our technical initiatives align seamlessly with customer needs and expectations.

You will play a critical role in shaping our product roadmap, ensuring that we deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that not only meet market demands but also drive customer success.

About you:


  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years in leadership roles within global, remote engineering departments comprised of full-time employees and contractors
  • Expertise in .NET, React, mobile app development, and AI technologies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with an emphasis on performance management, setting KPIs, and driving accountability
  • Experience working closely with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, and onboard technical talent
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure environments while maintaining strategic focus
  • Adaptability to change and experience managing vendor relationships and external partnerships
