Chief Technical Officer & Vice President of Engineering, Deerfield, IL. Coordinate activities of trading/financial platforms to align company technology with business goals. Lead engineering and business teams to transform business expectations into products. Develop and maintain system architecture and infrastructure. Design investor/trader-focused features. Integrate APIs from data brokers and exchanges, managing tick-based data flows. Design infrastructure and DevOps for efficient product development. Oversee the full life cycle of TrendSpider and SignalStack products, including quality assurance, software development, technical support. Analyze and connect with market data, brokerage and exchange APIs. Participate in financial planning and staff management. Communicate with enterprise clients to make sure their needs are met.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field (will accept foreign degree equivalent), + 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer to write code in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, & designing object-oriented software. Utilize Java Script down to profiling RAM and CPU consumption. Apply technical analysis concepts (such as market volume and technical indicators) to build trading applications. Remote work permitted.
