- Immaculate upkeep of the company’s inventory in a 32,000 square foot facility.
- Become fluent with over 3500 unique inventory items by name and location, and be a beacon of knowledge concerning those items.
- Manage quarterly, yearly and spot inventory hand counts and adjustments.
- Forecasting, tracking and replenishment of production supplies and expendables (gel, gaff tape, zip ties, etc.)
- Monitor, track, and schedule equipment repairs & maintenance.
- Assist with overall warehouse organization, storage, labeling, shelving.
- Ensures equipment is functioning, well organized and ready to support event productions and the goals of the business.
- Advises employees on the care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping related problems.
- Examine records and recommend remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess/obsolete stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Theatrical Lighting and/or Production Experience.
- Warehouse or similar inventory operations experience.
- Troubleshooting of processes, procedures, equipment, spatial layouts.
- Understanding of theater lighting systems: DMX, dimmer control, conventional and LED lighting.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high energy environment.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and team driven.
- Effective written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Electrical repair.
- Soldering.
