FOLX Health is currently looking for a hands-on
Quality Assurance Engineer to work with our team building the next generation health and wellness platform for LGBTQIA care. Our ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on quality assurance engineer with strong product acumen, proven ability to deliver team impact, and determination to be a part of a world class engineering team focused on redefining healthcare.

hat You’ll Do:


  • Manual web-based applications and API testing
  • Requirements gathering, analysis, and refinement
  • Creation and maintenance of testing artifacts: checklists, test plans, test cases, etc.
  • Active participation in SDLC
  • Search, record, and track software bugs
  • Analysis of potential risks related to product quality
  • Establish close partnerships with product managers, automation engineers, software engineers, and business analysts
  • Product regression testing
  • Early estimation of testing efforts partnering closely with product managers and software engineers to be a part of the requirements gathering

What You’ll Bring:


  • 2-3 years of commercial experience as QA 
  • A preference to prevent bugs as opposed of managing bugs
  • Practical experience in Agile/Kanban development processes
  • End-to-end, functional, regression, usability, and GUI testing
  • Backend testing experience including, but not limited to, API testing, database testing
  • API testing experience (using Postman or similar tools)
  • Ability to write simple to moderately complex SQL queries
  • Early requirements review and analysis
  • Practice in risk analysis and definition of impacts related to the testing process
  • Experience in test planning and estimating
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools and processes (JIRA)
  • Understanding web-application and browser functioning principles
