Full-timeDescriptionVector Solutions is seeking a Channel Account Manager. The Channel Account Manager (CAM) supports partners with selling Vector Solution products to their end customers. They help assess partner and customer needs, train partners, provide demo presentations, qualify prospects, close sales, and place orders. The Channel Account Manager will focus on growing and developing new business, as well as drive sales growth through rebuilding of underpenetrated accounts.

What You’ll Do


  • Deliver against an annual bookings / sales growth target.
  • Plan and execute an effective relationship strategy and maintain effective long-term business relationships with representatives and management at our strategic partners.  
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities and develop business partner growth strategies.
  • Develop account plans for each partner within your portfolio, including the development of an annual business plan, determining sales and activity goals required for attainment of assigned quota and driving incremental growth of revenue and market share.
  • Work closely with Marketing to create strategy and craft messages that speak directly to the needs of Vector Solution customers via our partners.
  • Effectively communicate Vector Solution’s value proposition and product knowledge through sales activities, partner training, and other events.
  • Provide answers to pre-sales technical questions for partners and customers.
  • Assist Partner Sellers in broadening their product expertise and sales opportunities.
  • Drive product, promotions, and programs.
  • Develop proposals, account or market plans, and forecast sales activity to assist in closing additional business.
  • Perform end-user account mapping with partner organizations to align with Vector Solution’s direct sales team.
  • Become a trusted consultant to named accounts.
  • Handle issues and escalations.
  • Travel to and participate in tradeshows as required to support the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 5 years working in channel partnerships for a technology company, preferably in the SaaS space.
  • Experience working with Resellers, particularly within in the LMS and content distribution domains
  • Track record of channel sales success.
  • Experience with executive level engagements and communication.
  • 25-50% Travel Required 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
