If you're ready to do the most ambitious work of your career, join us.We’re seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Operations Manager that will play a crucial role in overseeing lead management across the Marketing and Sales funnel. You’ll work hard to make sure that leads are effectively nurtured and moved through each stage with minimal drop-off.  You’re known to be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of funnel dynamics, data analysis, and process optimisation.

You’re a resourceful, creative go-getter who is eager to help shape the next phase of Airwallex’s growth.

Responsibilities:



  • Continuously monitor the performance of the Marketing and Sales funnel, using data analytics tools to track key metrics such as lead conversion rates, stage progression, and drop-off points.

  • Identify and address any leaks or inefficiencies, implementing strategies to improve lead retention and ensure a smooth transition between stages.

  • Drive standardised processes for managing leads across the funnel, ensuring alignment between Marketing and Sales teams and supporting a consistent approach.

  • Create regular reports on funnel performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Educate and train team members on best practices for funnel management, ensuring that everyone involved in the process understands their role and responsibilities.

  • Oversee the use of Marketing automation, AI technology, CRM systems, and other tools that support funnel management, ensuring they are configured and used effectively.

  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in funnel management, continuously seeking opportunities to elevate our performance.

What you bring:



  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, funnel management, or a related role at a B2B tech company. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address inefficiencies, leaks, and bottlenecks in the funnel.

  • A good understanding of data management practices, including segmentation, lead scoring, and data hygiene.

  • Experience in designing and implementing standardised processes for lead management and funnel optimisation.

  • A knowledge of B2B Sales processes and the ability to align Marketing efforts with Sales goals to ensure a cohesive approach.

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate insights, strategies, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A deep understanding of the customer journey and the ability to tailor funnel processes to meet the needs and behaviours of different customer segments.

  • Certifications in Marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo Certified Expert) or CRM systems, as well as basic SQL skills are a plus.
