This role is critical to Meter's success


The Application Engineering team’s mandate is to make network management easier for customers with our dashboard, software that helps customers, partners, and operators configure and manage networks at scale. Meter’s dashboard provides configuration tools that simplify network management and observability features that give customers the confidence they need to run their business smoothly.To drive this mission forward, we’re looking for an ambitious full-stack engineer to help drive the development and direction of Meter’s dashboard.  In this role, you will design, implement, and test features using TypeScript, React, and Go; you will collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure robust integration across Meter security appliances, switches, and wireless access points; you will actively engage in architectural discussions to constantly make development simpler and faster; and, you will partner with the Design and Product teams while executing on Meter’s roadmap.This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office. 

You will have an impact by


  • Shaping the vision for Dashboard, collaborating with various teams including Operations, Release Engineering and Support to scale it to thousands of businesses 
  • Building features that enable customers to manage complex computer networks and monitor their networks' topology, performance, health, and uptime 
  • Building tools that provide leverage to internal teams like Operations, Release Engineering and Support
  • Playing a key role in adding support for future and upcoming hardware, ensuring our platform evolves to meet the needs of our growing business and rapidly changing industry
  • Working alongside talented and compassionate peers with deep expertise in software engineering, hardware engineering, network design, operations, and warehouse management

Compensation


We think about Meter's compensation package as a combination of salary, equity, benefits, and the experience of working with a talented team to make the biggest impact of your career. 

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $148,500  - $175,00 
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience.
