Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative manages customer-related requests and complaints. This position will be responsible for the transportation billing and logistics. You will also handle incoming inquiries pertaining to both the rental, service, and purchase of Offshore, ISO and/or IBC containers and parts. Provide accurate and clear on-hire and off-hire terms including rental rates. Work with internal and external customers to ensure smooth mobilization of products in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, or other forms of communication from external inquiries and internal teams promptly and professionally
- Process and track transportation billing
- Acknowledging and resolving customer inquiries timely, work with internal teams if required to ensure resolution of customer request
- Receiving and Processing customer orders
- Maintain order entry management regarding completion of off/on hire paperwork.
- Coordinate monthly fleet summary reporting for internal or external clients to ensure monthly invoicing is complete
- Generate return orders and coordinate with the return location facility accordingly
- Process return orders and equipment when coming off hire
- Ensure all damage reports are accurately recorded, reported, and notify damage back to the client at the time of off hire ensuring online documentation is uploaded.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic billing knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
- Experience with an ERP system (Navision 2017 preferred)
- Basic CRM system knowledge
- Transportation and Logistics knowledge preferred
- Strong communication skills which include verbal, written, telephone and email
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, demands and priorities
- Strong customer service ethic, ability to build rapport with internal and external customers
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to problem solve and be highly proactive
- Ability to maintain a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
Requirements:
- Some college is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Customer Service
