Description
Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for supporting the team and mission services. The team provides several containerized services that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a Kubernetes cluster. Some of the services include Gitlab CI/CD, Jupyter Notebooks, MinIO, and several other products. The Software Integration Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, and assist customers using the CCE.
Additional tasking shall include customer support to CCE customers across several Hustle channels and via help desk tickets.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
- The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.
- An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Linux CLI
- Experience with Bash/Python scripting
- Experience creating containerized applications/services using Docker/containers
- Experience updating containerized applications to address STE/STN requirements
- Experience migrating applications into containerized environments
- Experience with creating Helm Charts for Kubernetes
- Experience with deploying and maintaining services on Kubernetes
- Experience with creating and managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting support
- Experience transitioning applications and services to AWS
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite including Confluence and Jira
- Willingness to demonstrate functionality to the CCE user community as needed

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
