We are a fast-growing, seed-stage consumer startup looking for a highly organized and motivated Executive Assistant to work closely with our CEO. Our company thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and we’re searching for someone who can manage multiple responsibilities and support the CEO in driving key initiatives while managing day-to-day operations.
Position Overview:
As the Executive Assistant, you will serve as a trusted partner, working directly with the CEO to support strategic planning, project execution, and organizational efficiency. In this role, you will oversee complex cross-functional projects, streamline workflows, manage communications, and ensure that the most critical business priorities receive the most attention. This is a unique opportunity to be at the center of a startup's growth, with direct exposure to all aspects of business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize your exec’s time and priorities to help them reach their ambitious goals
Take ownership and manage calendars and scheduling
Research and develop plans for your client’s personal and professional growth
Surprise and delight your client by demonstrating initiative
Build rapport with your client’s network and team and help to manage these important relationships
Drive internal and external communications, presentations, reports, and social media
Use AI tools to draft responses, analyze data, create images, and more
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows
Qualifications:
- Experience in project management, executive assistance, or similar roles, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- High level of proficiency in project management tools and office software. The specific tools are Slack, Notion, Claude/ChatGPT, Loom, and Google Suite- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment- Ability to decipher instructions from a video recording- Ability to communicate clearly through a video recording- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail- Ability to leverage AI tools- Ability to document work and create SOPs- Amenable to work US Eastern 9a-6pm- Are motivated by impact and driven by wanting to help others - Embody trust and dependability- Can tackle complex problems and offer creative solutions- Take pride in the quality of their work and in constantly improving- Foster a strong desire to learn and develop - Have deep emotional and social intelligence
