**Fully remote position. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Position will be working EST hours.


Magna5 provides a portfolio of managed IT services, including network and desktop management, cybersecurity, private and public cloud services and back-up and disaster recovery, to name a few. Our clients are small to mid-size enterprises that look to us to improve their IT performance, enhance the experience of their end-users, and allow them to focus their resources on projects that are strategic to their organization’s business plan. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Project Management Office (PMO).The Project Manager’s responsibilities will entail planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed quickly and within budget within a fast-paced environment.

The Project manager will work closely with other staff members in the Service Delivery and Support Department and other areas, as necessary. This role will report to the Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Development and management of project plans
  • Management of ongoing milestones, project tasks, resources, and budget hours
  • Management of project related documentation
  • Maintain a constant and direct line of communication between Clients and relevant stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Project kickoff meetings (internal and external)
  • Weekly project status meetings and project progress reports
  • Communication through written, verbal, comprehensive, proactive, etc.
  • Act as point of escalation for any project related issues
  • Escalate within the organization as appropriate
  • Provides feedback to project team and leaders regarding the Order to Cash cycle
  • Identifies process improvements that close gaps and mitigates risk
  • Provides weekly communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information for projects including project status, resolving project issues and changes
  • Understanding of supply chain processes to track, improve, and report on project status
  • Ensure and improve upon customer information flow process from the Sales order through Magna5’s systems to billing
  • Additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Ensure billing readiness for partial/full billing
  • Overall workflow timing, project updates, and bottleneck monitoring

Education and Experience Expectations:


  • Education: A bachelor’s degree. Relevant and significant industry experience may provide a substitute for the education requirement.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, IT Industry preferred
  • PMI certification as CAPM or PMP a preferred
  • Proficient with a PM (Project Management) tool
  • Not required but nice to have: Experience with Wrike (PM tool) and ConnectWise
