RealPage is seeking an experienced mid-level Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing a robust and mature data analytics foundation that transforms how we leverage data across the company. You will synthesize data at scale, build data pipelines, develop advanced analytics models and deliver insights to stakeholders that empower informed decisions. This role requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Data Science and other stakeholders to build out data pipelines, automate reporting, drive analytics, and support marketing initiatives.
- Build and own analytic and visualization tools and business semantic layer driving self-service and curated reports/dashboards.
- Advise stakeholders across the company on how to best leverage business and product data in their own analysis and workflows.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand technical needs, gather requirements, map to existing systems, define and create new solutions.
- Introduce and execute innovative and proactive analytical techniques and technologies enabling business analytic capabilities that drive ROI.
- Proactively identify potential areas for business improvement, growth, and optimization through data analysis.
- Explore, define and standardize business and product KPIs and metrics and provide efficient and meaningful reporting capabilities across the organization.
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability in the ETL pipeline.
- Perform comprehensive data validation and cleansing to maintain high data integrity and consistency in reports, modeling, and dashboards.
- Conduct in-depth ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, address specific business inquiries, and optimize performance.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Advanced proficiency and minimum 5 years of experience using SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Proficient in writing SQL queries against product telemetry and business databases for analysis and visualization.
- Proficiency in data wrangling at scale and speed using R or Python.
- Experienced Power BI developer (or similar business intelligence software).
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines, and familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools such as SSIS.
