Inter-Store Truck Driver
Accountabilities
- Responsible for making sure the truck is loaded and secured properly.
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance, security and keeping the vehicle clean.
- Compliance with all D.O.T. requirements.
- Maintain driver qualification records and driving records.
- Keep all paperwork in the correct order and ensure that all transactions are documented.
- Make all deliveries on time while maintaining safe driving.
- Load and unload truck as required.
- Safely operate a forklift.
- Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
- Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
- Coordinate with the Manager for any changes that need to be done to the Delivery schedule (mechanical issues/maintenance needed, weather delays, vacations and so on)
- Communicate with the Manager if there is not enough space on truck so it can be decided which material is a priority and what can stay
- Notify the Manager if any expenses were made from the “Emergency Cash” allowance so the money can be expensed and refilled

Qualifications:
- Education: None
- Experience: 1 Year of truck driving experience
- 1 Year of Forklift experience
- License or Certification: A valid Class A Driver’s License is required.
Physical Demands:
- Be able to lift 30-75 lbs
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Long periods of standing at a time
Knowledge and Skills:
Bilingual in English & Spanish
