Summary of Position:
WaterBridge is seeking a Commercial Contracts Analyst to join our Legal team. This role will support the Legal team and other business functions within the WaterBridge portfolio by maintaining master contract databases and communicating relevant terms to internal stakeholders. This position reports to the VP, Deputy General Counsel.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules, standards, and corporate policies.The Commercial Contracts Analyst duties you will be responsible for include:
- Maintaining organized, accurate, and up-to-date commercial, land, supply chain, and other legal records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining contract summaries and serving as the primary resource for day-to-day contract questions from other business functions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including business development, operations, finance, accounting, supply chain, and land, to ensure contract terms and objectives alignment.
- Monitoring contract performance and compliance as well as identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Preparing and managing contract amendments, renewals, rate adjustments, and other correspondence as necessary.
- Reviewing and summarizing contracts for mergers and acquisitions and financing efforts.
- Assisting in resolving contract disputes and claims, working closely with legal counsel and other relevant parties.
- Assisting in reviewing and negotiating Master Services Agreements and Terms & Conditions, working closely with legal counsel and other relevant parties.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, contract management, legal research, landowner relations, or equivalent functions. Oil and gas/energy industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and highly detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently or collaborate effectively within a team and cross-functionally.
- Able to interact effectively with all departments and levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in project management, analytics, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro (editing, redacting, preparing, and creating documents).

- Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position.
- Monday – Friday is the standard workweek; optional work from home is on Friday.
