AI Frontend Engineer, Replit, Inc., San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining user interfaces that integrate AI capabilities seamlessly; collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable code; implementing AI-driven features based on Large Language Models, Recommender Systems, etc.; optimizing application performance and responsiveness to ensure a smooth user experience; staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in AI and front-end development; troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues, ensuring a high level of quality and user satisfaction; and participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. Telecommuting permitted. Must report to HQ 3x per week. Only incidental domestic travel is required for this position.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering and 3 years of experience as a Frontend focused engineer. Must also possess: 3 years of experience with strong proficiency in Javascript / Typescript / React / HTML / CSS; 1 year of experience with familiarity with AI concepts and technologies, including Large Language Models, Recommender Systems, and predictive analytics; 1 year of experience integrating AI capabilities into user interfaces; and 1 year of experience working on DevTools.
Must successfully complete competency-based interview. Telecommuting permitted. Must report to HQ 3x per week. Only incidental domestic travel is required for this position. Expected salary range is $180,000-$215,000/year.
