And we’re just getting started.We value autonomy of work, a relentless obsession with customer experience (both our customers and their end-customers), and a culture of respect and fun.Position SummaryWe're looking for an experienced Manager, FP&A to join our finance team. This person is a highly motivated team player with excellent business partnering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross functionally to lead as a Finance Manager. You will be a hands-on strategic leader who will build and manage Mashgin’s financial planning and reporting infrastructure to support the company’s growth.

You Will Be


  • Implementing systems to automate the finance and accounting function, including financial reporting
  • Performing analysis on historical data and cleansing data
  • Developing and managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning 
  • Building and maintaining the underlying forecasting models based on the drivers of the business 
  • Developing dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor business performance 
  • Providing leadership with insights into drivers of revenue and expenses, as well as risks and opportunities
  • Beyond budgeting and planning, you will be acting as a thought leader, partnering with stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies while supporting company growth 
  • Partnering with the Sales & Marketing to support execution of their strategy, including pricing and packaging, resource planning, and ROI analysis

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • 8+ years of directly applicable experience with time spent in FP&A, preferably in a high-growth and fast-paced start-up environment
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of breaking down complex issues into actionable plans
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization

$125,000 - $175,000 a yearFor roles based in Palo Alto, CA, the overall market range for Mashgin is typically $125,000 - $175,000 USD annually. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by candidate’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
