The Technical Analyst I operates as a liaison between development, operations and additional staff to research and solve application maintenance requests.


Responsibilities


  • Liaise with Operations/Support to understand production issues/requests
  • Propose and implement short term solutions for applications when applicable
  • Take ownership of production issues and drive escalations
  • Ability to research and resolve issues, utilizing critical and logical thinking
  • Write, execute, and validate data modifications and corrections
  • Manage priorities through ticketing system
  • Support technical customer implementations
  • Assist in documentation of technical work instruction
  • Recommend continuous improvement of operational and technical efficiencies
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams on future enhancements and capabilities
  • Ability to understand Greenphire products, technical capabilities, and custom solutions
  • Support application server management, deployment, and troubleshooting of lower and production environments
  • Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate

Qualifications


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or training preferred
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Self-starter
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technical support-oriented role
  • Computer Science or other technical degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Prioritization of security and privacy
  • Ability to independently manage time and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Sharp troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with configuring and populating a knowledge base tool is a plus
  • Willingness to explore new technologies
  • Experience supporting technologies in the Financial or Clinical Trial space preferred
  • Experience with OWASP security best practices is a plus

Technical Skills


  • SQL
  • Linux/Unix experience is preferred
  • Bash scripting
  • OO programming experience (python a plus)
  • JavaScript or Typescript experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and analyze application logs
  • Version control experience (i.e. git)
  • Open source software/web application development experience is a plus
