Role Overview:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Analyze user requirements and translate them into efficient program designs.
Enhance software functionality by implementing innovative solutions.
Provide technical expertise during software troubleshooting and debugging.

Key Responsibilities

Create and optimize Perl scripts to automate processes and improve system performance.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Participate end to end in the product life cycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation;
Develop user-facing web applications, ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;
Troubleshoot and resolve any bugs assigned.
Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
Review technical documentation and guidelines that will be used in development.
Ensure continuous improvement by adhering to established secure coding practices.

Skills and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in software development
Hands-on experience in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Node.JS, Angular.js; Experience in UNIX development environment
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and agile principles.
Proficiency in using development tools and version control systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Some experience of development, maintenance of existing PERL code.
