We are seeking to expand our team and are looking for a Senior Engineer who possesses eCommerce experience, particularly with Shopify, to take on a leadership role in our new team based in Vietnam. This team will play a key part in supporting the growth of our Australian enterprise clients (retailers exceeding $1 billion in revenue) while also gaining expertise in implementing small to medium-sized eCommerce solutions (spanning retailers with revenues between $5 million and over $100 million) globally.Mindera functions with a flat organizational structure and minimal hierarchy.

Requirements


Requirements:


  • 6+ years of experience working in a software engineering environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholderseffectively.
  • Proven experience working in corporate/retail environments with a focus oneCommerce, collaborating with both technology and business teams to optimisecustomer and end-user experiences.
  • Proven experience working with onshore and offshore teams and leveragingasynchronous communication to deliver at pace.
  • Strong QA skills with hands-on experience in executing and improving product qualityby working closely with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, customerservice, operations, etc.).
  • JavaScript and Playwright expertise (or similar open-source test automation tools) tolead automated testing efforts.
  • Ability to drive end-to-end test strategies, taking complete responsibility for enhancingtest coverage and product quality.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline testingprocesses.
  • Proven track record of implementing test frameworks and managing environments.
  • Ability to design, articulate, and execute functional, regression, and performancetests with a focus on expanding end-to-end test coverage.
  • Experience with various software development methodologies (SDLC, Agile, Waterfall)and technologies like Oracle, DB2, UNIX, and web platforms.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with familiarity in using monitoring tools to identifyand address bottlenecks.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectivelyengage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to raise and discuss both challenges andsuggestions.

Bonus Points For:


  • ISTQB or Agile Test Certification (Foundation level or above).
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Security knowledge related to authentication and authorization.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS platforms.
  • Proficiency in writing detailed and reliable test cases to ensure code quality.
  • Experience facilitating discussions around software testing, bringing technical insights tothe table.
