About the role:
- Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects of our flagship product
- Guide your team in making the best short- and long-term decisions for your projects
- Mentor engineers on your team to augment their technical skills and grow their careers
- Responsible for the collective software delivery, reliability, and resilience as well as the organizational health of the team
- Actively support stakeholders and peers in decision-making by asking the right questions and providing constructive feedback
- Responsible for attracting and hiring new talents as we expand our teams
- Work with our customer-facing teams to ensure successful project roll-out
- Facilitate collaboration with peers on shared goals
About you:
- 5+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years of proven experience in people management
- Hands-on experience with OOP languages
- Experience with web-development, preferably with SaaS products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in software development
- Organization and supervisory skills for keeping track of employee performance, product development, and schedules
- Communication skills for working with employees as well as with peers and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate in Hungarian and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
