Job Description:
The Senior Systems Integration Engineer (SIE) position will be supporting U.S. Marine Corps activities and personnel with the execution of assigned responsibilities within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI). The SIE provides advanced technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions in complex and large systems integration, implementation of ERP and Cloud applications, Program and Project Management, Data Management and BI applications. The position entails an understanding of Business and IT challenges and is the ERP Subject Matter Expert providing strategies to advise and implement short-term and long-term systems solutions.
The SIE provides direction to project teams and interact with external and internal customers and may play a role in the functional strategic planning.
The ideal candidate will support the Technical and Solutions Designs area:
• Providing expertise in Oracle standards, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards, supporting all E2E process IPTs, interfaces, and designing an integrated solution. This will require performing an analysis of alternatives for each request for customization and advising on technical implications of each course of action.• Defining the technical architecture and ensuring that it aligns with the organization's functional and technical requirements.• Collaborating with IPTs to translate functional to technical requirements, writing technical requirements, and determining solutions.
Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:• Demonstrate mastery of DAI modules: Budget-to-Report (B2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Cost Accounting (CA), Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), and reporting via the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).• Demonstrate mastery of capability to access, navigate, and transact within DAI.• Perform analysis and evaluation throughout the policy, process, system, interface, or software development lifecycle which includes, planning, requirements, design, acquisition, development, integration, installation/deployment, performance tuning, testing.• Identify, research, evaluate, communicate, coordinate, and resolve complex abnormal or unexpected system performance issues, including interfaces,• Provide functional and technical expertise to assist the workforce in the execution of their assigned responsibilities.• Assist USMC activities with the timely resolution of critically aged interface errors, pre-validation failures, MCVISTA rejects, unmatched transactions, and other abnormal transactions.• Identify and research performance trends and processing gaps, coordinate with stakeholders, and report findings and recommendations to client management for resolution.
Experience Requirements:
Experience: 8 years of experience (including internships) designing, developing, testing and deploying Oracle solutions.

Bachelor’s degree - 4 years of additional work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
