What We're Looking For:
Beam’s Strategic Finance team empowers the company with data-driven insights and recommendations. We develop financial models, perform data analytics, and manage strategic planning and forecasting. This role will be instrumental in building, iterating, and scaling our team, with a specific focus on go to market strategy, pricing strategy, and other key company strategies.

What You Will Do:
- Lead the creation, refinement, and maintenance of various financial models
- Make recommendations to optimize processes and drive improvements throughout Finance
- Support Corporate Development efforts with senior leadership as they arise
- Support the formulation, implementation and reporting of our go to market strategy with a focus on setting and tracking sales targets and incentive compensation
- Support our pricing function as they develop and implement our product strategy
- Analyze our unit economics on key performance indicators like LTV/CAC and payback period as well as generating proposals to improve those KPIs
- Provide analytic and strategic support to our claims forecasting and operations
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed to support management decisions
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and 6+ years of experience
- Experience in strategic finance, management consulting, or investment banking preferred
- Experience with insurance, structured finance, or SaaS is preferred but not required
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience creating high value materials in Slides/PowerpointFamiliarity with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, VBA, or Python is a plus
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes, including annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Experience with advanced excel modeling required.
- CPA / CFA is a plus
$115,200 - $184,200 a yearThe base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.
