The GL Accounting Manager that supports our Corporate Business has responsibility for managing the general ledger functions and play a key role in driving special projects such as process automation.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage General Ledger Accounting: Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead Month-End and Year-End Close: Ensure all journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Accounting Policy and Procedures: Assembles various accounting policies, procedures and analyses
- Process Automation & Efficiency Improvements: Lead and support special projects aimed at automating and improving existing processes, with a focus on optimizing the use of Blackline and NetSuite ERP.
- Team Development: Train and develop team members to ensure appropriate understanding of accounting guidance and policies and practices
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with FP&A, IT, and other departments to support financial analysis, reporting, and key business initiatives.
Qualifications/Education:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier firm preferred) and 3+ years in private industry.
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience with Blackline and NetSuite ERP is required.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Compensation/Benefits:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, bonus, equity, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.Salary Range for this position is $110,000-$130,000
