Casper Canada is a leading sleep company that was initially launched in the US in 2014 with one perfect mattress that was sold directly to consumers. Its line of obsessively engineered sleep products has expanded to include sheets, pillows, bed frames, and a dog mattress. In 2023, Casper joined Sleep Country Canada's family of brands. 
Our small and highlighted collaborative Canadian team is looking to add a passionate copywriter who can connect with our customer base through multiple channels. Our ideal candidate is team-oriented, collaborative, curious, creative, innovative, and able to easily adapt to rapid changes in consumer preferences. Our ideal candidate has keen attention to detail, a strong ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas, and is highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English and French*


What You'll Do:


  • Create compelling copy that is aligned with Casper’s tone of voice for various channels, including the website, ads, social media, emails, print materials, and copy for product launches on packaging, e-commerce, and retail printed materials
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure messaging is in line with brand standards and is cohesive across the campaign
  • Support SEO content generation, including blog articles and affiliate marketing content
  • Ability to speak to English and French audiences, including the Quebec market
  • Work in tandem with the creative to develop and manage our Brand Voice Guide
  • Edit and proofread content to maintain high quality and accuracy
  • Act as our content watchdog - have your finger on the pulse of industry news and be mindful of brand safety
  • Work collaboratively with the web team to ensure all copy on our website is up to date
  • Be self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging content trends

Who You Are:


  • 4+ years experience in a professional copywriting role
  • Bilingual in English and French is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
  • An expert in content organization and information hierarchy
  • Demonstrated experience writing for various formats, including web content, social media, email, and advertising copy
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies
  • Impeccable editorial judgment and writing ability
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • E-commerce experience is required
  • Agency experience preferred
