StackAdapt is a self-serve advertising platform that specializes in multi-channel solutions including native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home ads. We empower hundreds of digitally-focused companies to deliver outcomes and exceptional campaign performance every day, across a number of industry verticals including B2B, Healthcare, Travel, and Retail.
As StackAdapt continues to rapidly build our best-in-class B2B advertising platform (StackAdapt ABM), we are seeking an experienced technical SME with proven delivery results to shape the strategic vision for our B2B identity graph (digital and offline) and technical performance and machine learning solutions. In this role, the Technical Product Manager will be responsible for executing the roadmap across its lifecycle, from ideation to design, development, and continuous enhancement. By leveraging expertise and industry best practices, the candidate will develop product strategies that reflect a deep understanding of existing market solutions and competitive dynamics, working with Data Science to conduct R&D, Business Intelligence to design and manage experiments, Engineering/Product to deliver products and Solutions Leads to develop partner integrations and go-to-market strategies.

The candidate will have a strong drive for results, interpersonal skills, and familiarity with coordinating cross-functional teams. The candidate must have a high sense of urgency, be self-motivated, and be capable of troubleshooting complex and ambiguous technical problems with minimal supervision.

What you'll be doing:

  • Establish the technical vision for B2B data footprint expansion, B2B user profile, measurement, and identity graph based on best practices from within the industry and from our competitors. Understand and account for all downstream uses of the graph (both internal and external) to ensure maximum performance against all use cases
  • Work with technical stakeholders (ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Software Engineers) to develop a B2B data model blueprint, analytics pipeline and business algorithms for identity/user profile/measurement/performance optimization, based on business and commercial requirements
  • Own and execute the B2B technical roadmap, including ongoing build/maintenance of B2B data model blueprint, business algorithms and performance solutions; collaborate with Business Leads to ensure that technical ML products/solutions are fit-for-purpose for Business Solutions and Performance Teams
  • Develop, monitor and iterate on a set of performance metrics (i.e. first-party data adoption, feature usage, measurement accuracy) in order to measure the success of the technical roadmap and introduce roadmap revisions based on key metrics
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems (i.e. identity resolution accuracy, performance discrepancies) and gaps by analyzing massive complex datasets; work with internal analytics teams (Data Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering Services, Performance) to design experiments, validate hypotheses and establish a path to productization for technical measurement, ML and performance optimization solutions
  • Program manage (act as connective tissue) B2B ML projects across the organization, keeping Engineering, Product, and Leadership stakeholders aligned and accountable on priorities, schedule, risks and progress
  • Engage in various industry working groups (i.e. IAB) in order to gather market intelligence on prevailing trends, participate in solution design/experimentation and evangelize StackAdapt’s B2B advertising technical vision
  • Develop a ‘force multiplier’ solution with tangible applications across all non-B2B verticals, including Travel, Healthcare and Retail

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 5-8 years of professional experience, with 3-5 years in technical product management in a relevant role and 3-5 years working with ML or Data Engineering Teams
  • Strong domain knowledge and tactical experience in ad tech/mar tech, with hands-on experience building identity graph and measurement/attribution solutions
  • Mid-level executive leadership experience; ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams, internally and externally
  • Ability to manage complex technical requirements; strong preference towards experience designing solutions in conjunction with F/E and B/E engineering teams
  • Deep understanding of machine learning technologies and applications
  • Experience in delivering products in ad tech, search, eCommerce, and account-based marketing domains, with a strong foundation in ad tech/mar tech ecosystems
