Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team and own the Fix and Deploy area of the Level Access platform! This role will focus on platform workflow, service management, and integration for projects and tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for accessibility, and a consistent track record in product management.
Responsibilities
- Product Knowledge: Drive the overall knowledge of the product, the problems it solves, and the benefits it offers customers and end-users.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and insights to inform product decisions and independently define the analysis needed for good decision-making.
- Product Ownership: Serve as the product owner for key applications.
- Innovation: Own the exploration of new use cases, mapping our outstanding science/engineering capabilities to market opportunities, iterating quickly towards MVP and in-market testing.
- Vision and Roadmap: Major contributor to vision and strategy.
- User Interaction: Work well with users to understand their needs and develop new opportunity hypotheses.
- Teamwork: Engage daily with our engineering, science, design, and go-to-market teams, driving alignment around our product vision and strategy.
- Market Trends: Stay on top of market trends, specifically related to accessibility in the enterprise.
- Product Delivery: Drive product delivery from alpha/beta MVP to general release maturity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in a product or software development role, with at least 4 of those as a Product Manager.
- Product Management Fundamentals: Strong grasp of product management fundamentals and an interest in mentorship.
- Focus on Shipping products and experimenting in-market with engaged early adopters.
- Education: university degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Business or related fields.
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated technical knowledge of the software development lifecycle and API and process integration.
- User Interviews: Experience conducting user interviews and truly understanding and listening to problems.
- Product Lifecycle: Experience taking products from ideation to launch with clear success metrics for external or internal customers.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate ideas clearly and listen carefully to the needs and experiences of others.
- Early-Stage Development: Thrive under the energy and ambiguity of early-stage product development, continually developing hypotheses, testing them, and iterating at a fast pace.
- SaaS Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing Software as a Service (SaaS) products
Nice to Have
- Accessibility Regulations: Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA).
- WCAG Requirements: Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
- Diverse Personas: Experience using diverse personas to influence product design.
- Software Development/QA: Experience as a software developer or QA automation engineer.
- Accessible Design: Experience designing accessible experiences.
- Conformance Testing: Experience with accessibility conformance testing.
