Job Description:
A Post Closer is responsible for finalizing the mortgage process after the loan has closed. They ensure that all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards. They will coordinate all the steps of post-closing, to insure a quality loan delivery and purchased by investors.
What you'll do:
- Ensuring loan files are audited, shipped, and sold correctly.
- Preparing and auditing loan files promptly.
- Reviewing signed settlement documents for accuracy, then develop, send, and record mortgage documents.
- Ensure loan files are complete and ship them to investors.
- Oversee compliance with investor policies to mitigate any suspense items preventing purchase.
Who you are:
- College Degree
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in clearing suspense items.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent communication, email etiquette and customer service skills
- Must have strong computer skills and proficiency with loan industry software, in addition to a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with bond loans is a plus.
