Role Purpose:
The Senior Director Marketing is responsible for leading a global team of marketers to drive brand and customer growth for ApplyBoard. This person will drive the development and execution of the marketing strategy for Students, Recruiters and Schools across all markets, channels and tactics.Success will be defined by the delivery of brand and customer outcomes that drive the commercial growth of ApplyBoard.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Lead the global integrated marketing team to deliver brand, customer and commercial growth
Define the global marketing strategy, including objectives, KPI’s, budget, priorities and campaigns with programs across a diverse set of countries and customer segments
Develop and execute marketing campaigns across all channels and stages of the customer funnel
Define the role of brand within the marketing strategy that grounds ApplyBoard as leader in the category
Lead a team of marketers to lead with learning agenda, experimentation and customer insights
Lead the development and optimization of an always on customer lifecycle marketing program
Define global / local strategy for maximum impact across key markets, working closely with the regional sales and operations teams to determine scaled resources and support
Lead data, tech driven approach to campaign execution and optimization
Manage, mentor and inspire the team to achieve their goals, to contribute to the business and to develop, learn and grow while they build a successful marketing career at ApplyBoard
Play a leadership role within the Marketing Team by contributing to building a high-performance team renown for accountability, executional excellence, business impact and teamwork
Experience and Skills
15+ years marketing experience
Degree qualified in Marketing, Business and/or Commerce (preferred not mandatory
Highly strategic and great problem solver
Highly creative with ability to inspire and motivate others
Highly analytical, commercially oriented and motivated by business impact
Highly structured, with strong planning and prioritization skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience in driving organizational change management programs
Seasoned people leader and manager
Experience in fast paced, dynamic environment
Outcomes/results focused, proactive, can think ahead and work under pressure
Ability to manage ambiguity and constant change in a patient and mature manner
Highly empathetic, great listener and business partner
