About the role:
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the development of educational material and organizing and conducting internal training sessions. This role is ideal for someone early in their career, looking to gain experience and grow within the learning and development field. You will work with each team in the company, but you will report directly to the Learning & Development Manager in Operations.
What you'll do:
- Liaise with department managers & team leads to determine training needs.
- Proactively identify training gaps across the organization.
- Design effective training programs.
- Develop training materials for employees, such as presentations, videos, and guides.
- Schedule and conduct training sessions.
- Measure & monitor the success of training programs.
- Ensure employees are fully trained on new processes & features prior to launch dates.
- Manage training resources in internal resource centres.
Requirements
- Some experience in designing effective training material.
- Experience delivering training presentations to internal teams or external clients is preferred.
- An operations background is an asset.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proven track record with client relationship management.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Efficient and likes to tackle problems with resolve to see them through to completion.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
