Job Description:
Lower is looking for a Mortgage Jr. Licensing Analyst that will be responsible for ensuring that the company's operations comply with state and federal licensing regulations. They will assist in providing guidance on licensing of individual loan originators and/or branches. This includes the initial licensure, updates, changes, and renewals for branches and/or individuals licenses. Assist with managing individual licenses as well as the additional NMLS & State regulatory compliance requirements (MCRs, Annual Financial Reports, Surety Bond Requirements, Etc.) Communicate with branch managers as well as HR in the onboarding process for all new Loan Officers.Strong attention to detail, understanding of regulatory frameworks, and excellent organizational skills are essential for this role.
This is an entry-level role.
What you'll do:
- Order education and exams needed for licensure
- Assist with NMLS licensing of mortgage loan originators
- Complete daily license approvals and update Encompass accordingly
- Complete NMLS MLO terminations and generate report
- Monitor pending license items for individual mortgage loan originators
- Interact daily with internal departments and loan officers
- Coordinate with and assist loan officers during license application process
- Ensures all new hires requiring licenses have them before they receive system access
- Contact state regulators with any licensing related questions or concerns
