Based in Toronto and operating across North America, FundThrough’s AI-powered invoice funding platform gives B2B businesses fast, customized funding offers to get their invoices paid in a few days – rather than a few months – and get quick access to cash they’ve already earned.What you will do:
- Design, build and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data across a number of platforms including data warehouse, online caches, feature stores and near real-time systems
- Build state-of-the-art data architecture foundations to scale
- Partner with leadership, engineers, managers and data scientists to understand data needs
- Act as a subject matter expert in a specific domain or class of data engineering challenges, leading by example and working with others
- Conduct comprehensive audits of current data pipelines to catalog systems, identify inefficiencies, and streamline processes, ensuring optimal data flow, reduced redundancy, and improved overall data integrity
- Communicate, at scale, through multiple mediums: Presentations, dashboards, company-wide datasets, bots and more
- Educate your partners: Use your data and analytics experience to ‘see what’s missing’, identifying and addressing gaps in their existing logging and processes
- Leverage data and business principles to solve large scale web and data infrastructure problems
- Build data expertise and own data quality for your areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years of Python development experience
- 1-3 years of SQL/No-SQL experience
- 1-3 years of experience with one or more data workflow management engines: Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, Dagster, Digdag, AWS Step Functions.
- Experience understanding requirements, analyzing data, discovering opportunities, addressing gaps and communicating them to multiple individuals and stakeholders.
- Experience working with cloud or on-prem Big Data/MPP analytics platform (i.e. AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or similar)
