We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual with strong business process acumen paired with technical and ERP systems expertise. This person will work independently, is naturally inquisitive and adept in communication and facilitation. This role requires someone that will demonstrate leadership in the business analysis discipline and apply their working knowledge of the company, industry, and/or business domain.
responsibilities:
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and liaison between the business and IT to identify and develop business and systems modification/enhancement requirements
- Work with internal stakeholders and external parties to build, enhance, maintain, test, monitor, troubleshoot, and support the company’s primary (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O) and legacy ERP platforms and related business systems
- Have a deep knowledge and understanding of all setups of production order routes, resource groups and resources in production control module in D365 F&O
- Understand quality orders and inventory status change processes helping to streamline and enhance quality procedures
- Work as a trusted partner with the plants maintenance departments to ensure all plants are setup consistently, following best practices regarding asset setup, work order setup and spare parts room procedures
- Collaborate closely with the planning team to ensure that master planning data is accurately configured, enabling MRP functions to operate effectively
- Lead or assist in developing innovative solutions to complex process changes and problems
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements, controls, and simplification through technology and automation
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external partners to research and deploy new features, upgrades, solve production problems, and drive resolution
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following established escalation paths; facilitate end user testing
- Manage and update process documentation, test plans, and training requirements as needed
- Manage day-to-day operational IT service management and support activities related to our ERP systems and Integrations, along with other assigned applications
skills/qualifications required:
- BS in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent education and experience
- 2+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
- 5+ years demonstratable experience deploying and supporting ERP functionality in the following disciplines: Asset management, Production Control, Quality management, and Master planning
- Experience with Dynaway asset management, including Dynaway mobile for D365 F&O strongly preferred
- Experience as a business SME or IT analyst for 1-2 full ERP deployment projects preferred
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, execute, and document business processes and translate into technical specifications
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and the ability use Agile software development and/or ticket management systems (ADO, Jira) to track requirements and deliverables.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools (T-SQL, Data Lake, PowerBI preferred)
- Working knowledge of MES/SCADA/Historian/HMI systems a plus.
- Experience with project leadership responsibilities, including implementation methodology and change control processes and documentation preferred.
- CPG, Beverage, Manufacturing industry experience a plus
