Clarity Partners is seeking a
CAD MicroStation Technician local to Chicago, IL.
This individual will be
responsible for reviewing PDF sketches, extracting and analyzing data, and accurately inputting information into corresponding PDF files using CAD MicroStation software on a client facing project. Project duration is set to last 3 – 4 months, extension possible. This position will report in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze PDF sketches, blueprints, and other related documents for data extraction.
- Download, interpret, and input data from PDF sketches into CAD software accurately.
- Maintain and update project files in both CAD and PDF formats.
- Ensure all data inputs meet company and industry standards for quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with engineers, drafters, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor CAD-related issues within project files.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working with CAD software, preferably MicroStation.
- Proficient in CAD and MicroStation software.
- Familiarity with PDF software for reading, editing, and manipulating data.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting engineering sketches and blueprints.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with CAD drawings and data input.
- Experience in handling large datasets or multiple project files simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members.
