Salary Range: $88,000 - $100,000*The referenced pay range is based on Pixelligent’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Final salary and compensation will vary based on factors such as work experience, market and business conditions, education, degree level, training and skill level with consideration for internal equity.
Summary:
We are seeking an Applications Engineer II to join our Pixelligent team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing formulations and processes, problem solve and apply theory to planning experiments, identify root cause and conduct independent analysis to ensure resolution of customer issues, including developing action plans.
Responsibilities:
· Performs advanced laboratory tasks in formulations development and liquid and film characterization. · Routinely demonstrating proficiency in data management (e.g. collection, processing and organizing· Draw conclusions from data collection/processing, demonstrates independent thinking and analysis.· Independently develops and implements project plans for specific customers, track progress to plan, and propose/take corrective measures to keep project plans on schedule. · Lead projects as assigned· Contributes to writing product application notes for customers. · Develops technical understanding of customer's applications and product needs.· Regularly serves as a technical contact, providing support to key customers and resolving complex issues in support of business development activities to commercialize new products· Develops and implements customized project plans for different customers or products with the Senior Manager and/or Director of Applications Engineering.· Lab time would be typically 60 to 75%, allowing for non-laboratory activities (e.g., planning/strategizing, data management and analysis, customer meetings)· Actively Participates in weekly project update team meetings, providing input and suggestionsRequirements
Minimum Requirements:
