Jon-Don's Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a smooth operation of all warehouse functions, and lead by example.

- Monitor overall warehouse operations to provide services that meet safety, quality, cost, volume, and timelines
- Maintain accuracy of all shipping, receiving and picking of products
- Recommend and implement warehouse layout and seasonal changes
- Set expectations and measure performance of warehouse material handling and shipping tasks
- Enforce company rules regarding safety and best practices
- Plan, assign, and direct work; address complaints, resolve problems
- Communicate with the corporate office, sales, service department on a regular basis
- Maintain inventory integrity, perform routine cycle counts
- Keep the warehouse clean and safe at all times
- Establish and ensure compliance to safety policies and procedures
- Foster a team environment where associates feel they are valued and important members of the organization
- Adhere to company policies and lead by example; maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prioritize efforts to meet department demands
- Review all shipping, receiving and inventory discrepancies and determine root cause
- Assist with interviewing and hiring needs
- Manage 1-5 people on a regular basis
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of Warehousing
- 2 years of supervisory experience
REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTITUDES:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- High sense of urgency
- Fork lift certification; training provided
- Dependable, responsible and willing to accept accountability
- Strong customer service (internal and external customers)
- Able to make decisions and exercise good judgment
- Ability to see good use of time and space
- Multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of hazmat materials and proper handling
- Computer skills
