Superside is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Customer Marketing to lead and grow the company’s customer-focused marketing efforts. This new role is pivotal in driving customer growth, engagement, retention, and advocacy by implementing strategies that maximize the lifetime value of our customers.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, your success in this role will be measured by your ability to drive awareness, interest, and adoption of Superside’s design and consulting services as well as reducing churn and turning customers into loyal brand advocates. You’ll work closely with our lifecycle marketing, customer success, services, and events teams to develop and execute customer-facing programs that deliver.And you will have access a world-class team of marketers and designers (content writers, video producers, motion graphics designers, performance marketers, operations manager, etc.) and a powerful tech stack (Hubspot, Salesforce, Dreamdata, Demandbase, etc.) to make it all happen.
What you'll do
- Gain a deep understanding of the entire customer journey, from engagement and onboarding to renewal and expansion
- Lead and execute customer marketing campaigns (email, events, in-product communications), continuously assessing program performance and effectiveness
- Collaborate with content, services, and customer success teams to create campaigns that drive retention and expansion
- Partner with the product team to experiment with in-product user experiences that drive retention, growth, and expansion (e.g., in-app prompts, notifications, etc.)
- Serve as a customer champion, celebrating customer wins and advocating for their success both internally and externally
- Bring creative ideas to the table to help meet revenue goals and uncover new opportunities for growth
- Own, optimize, and scale Superside’s customer advocacy program
What you'll need to succeed
- 8+ years of experience in B2B customer marketing, growth, or lifecycle marketing roles
- Proven success in developing customer growth strategies in a subscription-based business model
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to balance instincts and creativity to solve challenges
- Comfortable with ambiguity and highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- A hands-on, self-starter mentality, with experience creating scalable processes in a growing company
- Self-motivated and proactive, always seeking out ways to enhance reach and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with experience presenting and discussing ideas in large groups
