Your Role


The Contracts Administrator will support the Legal Department in managing, reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining company contracts and agreements. This role involves close collaboration with legal counsel, department heads, and external partners to ensure contracts and the contracting process are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company goals. The Contracts Administrator will play a key role in facilitating the contract lifecycle from inception through execution, while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities


  • Assisting with the launch, development, and maintenance of a company-wide Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, including conducting quality control reviews with respect to contract data input maintained in the CLM and other corporate systems.
  • Maintaining and updating the company's contract database, ensuring that all agreements are properly stored, easily accessible, and up to date.
  • Monitoring contract management workflow and tracking key contract dates, milestones, renewals, and expirations.
  • Preparing regular reports for legal and operations teams on contract status and upcoming actions.
  • Supporting legal counsel during contract process by preparing necessary documentation and communicating with stakeholders and assisting legal team with updating and revising contracts, as needed.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives/needs and adhere to company policies, communicating regarding the status of contracts, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to monitor compliance with contractual obligations.  
  • Liaising with vendors, clients, and external legal teams (as needed) to resolve contract-related issues and ensure smooth execution of agreements.
  • Providing and leading training and support to business units on contract management tools, policies, and procedures.

Requisite Qualifications, Skills, and Experience 


  • Experience using and maintaining Contract Lifecycle Management systems
  • Knowledge of legal contracts and types of provisions in legal contracts 
  • Advanced organizational, administrative, and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using Salesforce, DocuSign CLM, or other contract management tools or software 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, including proficiency at influencing others and collaborating with employees (at varying levels) across the company
  • Superior time-management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively multitask, manage large tasks, and work independently
